While the balloon and cow transformations make me feel a bit uncomfortable and the tf fetish is a bit too blatant for my own liking at times, this is genuinely a pretty good puzzle platformer that combines its mechanics pretty well and has a really good sprite-work to boot!
I also find the concept of the story quite cute, with many of the mechanics presented being diegedtic since the playable character is following the rules of an actual obstacle-course game created as a birthday gift.
Also "I'm not your mom" as a premeditated response to any softlock criticism got a chuckle out of me.
This game actually somewhat reminded me of the Fancy Pants games, with the chirpy music, casual platforming, and impressive spritework! Can't wait to see what's next for this title, and if there are more forms in the future!
I will also make sure to check out the Game Jam version too, because honestly I couldn't get enough--
loved playing this! Hope to be able to play the full version one day, gotta say I've gotten pretty attached to the characters and would love to see the ending :3
I didn't know this was a fetish game when I downloaded it and I was kinda surprised, but I lowkey played through the full thing. The gameplay is really fun, the puzzles are cool, and the characters are super endearing (I love the little cat guy and their shop so much :D). The dialogue is funny and well written, and overall the world feels very vibrant, cozy, and full of personality. Great chill game and I will definitely be keeping up with the development.
hahaha WELL i would like it to be something a broad audience can appreciate, but i also figure, if hideo kojima can do, uh, his whole thing, then i should be allowed to have a fox turn into a balloon
glad you liked it, thank you! i also love the little cat guy. i'm still pluggin' away at it don't worry
Thank you for listing the keyboard defaults. I plugged them into JoyToKey, and I want to say that it's not true that "gamepads work in theory".
All Windows-compatible controllers will work with this game, in fact. You could include Xbox controller plug-and-play, and a built-in keybinder, but you don't need those things for this to be broadly controller-friendly.
I tested the game with an official Xbox controller, and the plug-and-play works correctly. This game's approach to inputs is fantastic. Xbox controllers work automatically, and for all the rest, I can still create my own layout.
i am, ty! there's later builds on my patreon. been a while since the last one (i was working on something else for some time) but i've been trying to finish some stuff up so i can post a big update there soon. and it will include lexy's house if that's what you mean. sort of
Hello! I played a little in your game, and your movement - incredible! But main question, HOW you did maps using tiles without any graphics editor, or I just something dont know about Love2d)
thank you, i worked hard on the movement :) and the maps are all made with tiled — i wrote my own loader but i think there are some more standard ones floating around
